There are two recent keywords in the global media market.  Generative AI, which generates text, video, and audio on command, and FAST, which is free ad-supported streaming TV. Channel 1 AI, a global news channel that aims to become AI CNN and is preparing to launch, is heading to the FAST platform.  Channel 1 announced that Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, which operates the FAST service 'Crackle and Red Box', will broadcast Channel 1, a startup news channel that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to present daily headlines.


Channel 1 AI will launch on more than 140 FAST platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Samsung. In the months following the launch of the FAST channel, Channel 1 will also launch its own channel on cable TV. This is the first time an AI news channel has supplied content to FAST. With this agreement, Channel 1 will gain access to millions of AI news subscribers.


Channel 1 is an AI news channel that automates investigative reporting (anchor, script writing) and press content production (press release screen) based on ChatGPT AI. AI can create video news channels without human reporters. News releases also combine real photos with AI-generated videos and photos. It also uses AI to deliver personalized newscast content optimized for your location and interests.  For example, when covering news about a court case, AI can automatically create the atmosphere of being in a real courtroom without the need for on-site cameras. For straight news (economics, sports, legal, and breaking events) where the facts are clear, Channel 1 believes that AI can take over the responsibility of gathering and reporting.
